I was looking and our threads are unraveling. It's hard to keep track of where to write and answer. SO I'm suggesting a single thread between now and the time we leave. Anything and everything! Then no one will miss something!

So first comment - hope Topmom got their packet. And Patrick, while it is not critical, could you also call California and have Alicia check to see when your packet is scheduled to arrive?

I have already been in contact with the Insight Vacation office in Toronto on Tuesday. They told me the travel docs should be arriving either on Thursday or Friday. There was some sort of internal processing delay overseas with my booking but it has been addressed now.

Today I had a phone call from "Sarah" at the California office. She said the "overseas office" is trying to arrange a transfer for those of us arriving on August 20. She needed my flight information (and I gave her Katinwa's since we are on the same plane.)

She said that they were trying to arrange JUST one transfer for that day. From what I remember from this BB as we shared, there are essentially TWO times that we all are arriving - around 7:00 a.m. and around 10:30 a.m. Don't know who is going to win, but I hope they see the situation and send two little shuttle buses at two different times.

Since I'm the first one writing about this, I hope others of you contact your various offices and see what they say to you. Sarah said she would get back to me as soon as possible.

We received our packet near the end of last week. I noticed that there are no transfer vouchers. Do any of you have them in your documents?

There has been some discussion elsewhere under one of the tour threads on this topic. There is no transfer info in our documents. However, it is our understanding that the TD will arrange for transfers at the end of the tour. My TA advised me today that she had received an email from Insight confirming both pre and post tour transfers -- she is checking to see whether a paper document is required. The pre-tour transfer is a pleasant surprise as we arrive on the 20th, the day before the tour begins (although we are staying at the tour hotel).

I look forward to meeting you in Frankfurt.

What time are you arriving in Frankfurt? And is Patrick on the same flight with you two?

Diane and Bill will be flying up from Switzerland and arrive within the same hour as Katinwa and I - around 10:30 a.m.

I hope it ends up to be 2 transfers, not just one. If it is just one, I suspect it will be too early for us. Rats!

We arrive in Frankfurt at 6:30 a.m. Pat arrives just after 7. Mr and Mrs Dragon and Pauline also arrive in Frankfurt at 6:30 a.m.

From what Diane's TA tells her, it sounds like there will be TWO different transfers on the 20th. I'm still waiting to hear from the CA office.
