Pauline, Patrick, Tully & friend & the Dragons arrived together around 6:30am and after checking in at the hotel caught the train into town. We went up the Main Observation Tower then had a 100 minutes river cruise before returning to the hotel to meet the rest of the group that had arrived early and all have dinner together.
This morning we had breakfast with our TD then caught the train into the city, walked across the Iron Bridge, visited a few churches,walked around the Old Town, had lunch in the square then returned to our hotel. Our tour officially starts at 3pm today with a city tour and as that is only 40 minutes away I guess I should go and get ready. So now the fun tour begins.  |

Hi folks.
Day 10 of our tour and all going well. A good TD, driver and fun group. We have been to the top of mountains & descended on miner's slides to salt mines. Visited fantastic castles and walked... And walked.... And walked. Everyone is getting on well together. Bye for now. |

Just a quick note to let everyone know that sadly all good things must come to an end and the BB Tour finished this morning with a coach load of now firm friends sad to be parting company.
It is the first tour that I have been on where not one single person was late at any stage during the 2 weeks of the tour. In fact everyone was always early and the coach usually departed up to 10 minutes early all the time. Now some of us are flying home and some are on to other places. For my wife and myself, we are now in Prague for the next 4 nights and we have walked our legs inches shorter exploring the city on foot all afternoon. Thank you Insight, and John Boulding in particular, for making such a wonderful tour possible and for giving so many of us the opportunity to meet in person and share the experience together. |

Thanks, Dragon, for your updates. Now when all you BB people get home there will be more posts to read on the BB. It has been fairly quiet lately.

We are back home....it was a wonderful trip, but a bit of a shock to step off the plane here into 29C temperatures!

Hi folks.
We had a fantastic time in Prague and certainly did a lot of walking. We also climbed every tower that we could and some of them had over 300 stairs. Yeasterday afternoon we arrived in Istanbul and had our "meet 'n' greet" for our 15 day Insight Treasures of Turkey tour. There are 2 coaches running together for the tour and we have 34 on the coach. We were off to a slow start this morning with the coach being 10 minutes late departing. Certainly a change from our early departures on the BB tour. That's all for now folks as each of this little updates have been done on my mobile phone. |
