I'm trying to wait patiently for my documents!

Many times when we arrive at a hotel, there is a desk or a posting of what to do first. BUT I was wondering IF Insight happened to tell us when the "orientation tour" starts.

I think I will send a note to the "contact us" board!

Hi September, as I told you in my reply email to you, there is no mention in my tour documents of the timing of the orientation tour.

I am also patiently awaiting the arrival of my documents - maybe today???

Our documents were promised some time ago and when they didn’t arrive I emailed Insight Singapore yesterday. The lady we have been dealing with is away and those there didn’t know that we were leaving on Saturday. They said that normally they despatched the documents two weeks before the start of the tour. Once they found out that we were leaving early they delivered them to the courier.

The last information I have is that they left Singapore at 6:44 this morning, presumably heading for Bangkok. The estimate is that they will be here on Thursday, but the mail would do better than that! So I am expecting them a bit earlier.

That is if TNT can find us! One courier company sent us a letter saying that they had an urgent parcel for us and where were we?!

I can update that at 10:21 they were released from Customs in Bangkok. Isn't tracking wonderful! But why send them through Bangkok when there is a direct flight to Chiang Mai that arrived at 10:45?

Had a phone call this afternoon from my travel agent saying I can pick up my documents. We shall do that on Thursday and go through it to make sure we have everything.

Our TA rang us 4 days ago to advise that she had all of our documents and I asked her to hang onto them until yesterday and then send them to me.

She sent them yesterday afternoon and I received and checked them this morning.

We also filled in our online Fastrack forms and printed out copies at lunch time.

I wish you all a great trip and that you will enjoy each other's company. It would have been interesting to meet all of you, I wish I had been able to make it.

The documents have arrived; they lack the voucher for the transfer on the final day but I had been told that it would be missing due to a technical hitch. They are going to fax it to the Frankfurt hotel for us. Not that I have ever had to produce one.

I went on to the fast track web page and registered myself without any problems, but when I tried to register Madam it came up with a bug. She was issued a new Passport on the 2nd of June this year which for some reason the Insight system thinks is in the future! Maybe it will sort itself out on Friday when the date trips to August.

Tangata, I presume you mean the transfer to Frankfurt airport at the end of the tour and that voucher is missing from our tour docs as well but I just assumed that since we will be stopping about 60klms out of Frankfurt that we would be transfered in the 2 coach transfers that were mentioned earlier this year. Also the Tour itinerary refers to day 14 as "This morning after breakfast there arer transfers to Frankfurt airport for your return flight home".
