Unfortunately I've had a recurrence of a back problem that hospitalised me a few years ago. I've got straight on to physio & hydrotherapy & am fervently hoping it'll settle in the next couple of weeks.
Garth & I are due to housesit on the Gold Coast for a month from next Friday, but I will stay home for a couple more weeks to continue treatment. Our client is travelling to Bali for business & there's no way we can let her down. I'm being positive & saying things will be fine, especially as I'm not covered for insurance for a pre-existing illness. If the worst happens Garth will travel alone & I'll just yearn to be with him. No, that won't happen - I'll be right to fly out on August 5th! Tuffet |

Hi Tuffet,
That is dreadfully bad luck. Hopefully seven weeks will be long enough to get it right once more. When you travel, remember that a foreign country is not designed to make you comfortable. It is designed to make its own people comfortable. |

John, I'm hoping fervently to share that Guinness with you, but unfortunately there's no improvement at all yet. Garth is still soaking up the sun on the Gold Coast while I'm having physio & hydrotherapy. And yes, I'm still being positive in spite of that. Tuffet Tuffet |

If we had to leave today, I would be "gimping" that's limping - like crazy through the terminals. I've had all kinds of tests to say there is NOTHING wrong with my foot, but it still aches. You name it, I've tried it. I'm still working on my list -- but may not be able to do all the climbing and walking. Oh, me. Old age! |
