Hiya Colleen,

As a matter of fact it wasn't. But the person I'd been visiting uses Ryanair all the time (lucky devil), and he's only had to pay the excess once ... his g/f at that time decided if she could only use one suitcase then it was going to be the biggest suitcase she could find! Big Grin

Have a great day!

M.

Another option to consider is EasyJet. I see this airline does offer flights between Paris Orly (ORY) and Milan Linate (LIN). I've used EasyJet before and didn't have any complaints. Like RyanAir, it does typically operate out of smaller airports which may be a bit further out of the city centre. One thing about European discount airlines is they don't pre-assign seats. So get ready for the mad dash to the plane when you board. With RyanAir, they operate out of Paris' Beauvais (BVA) airport and Milan's Bergamo (BGY) airport. I would suggest comparing the fares offered by the these two airlines and the accessibility of the airports to be the determining factors.

Ryanair Or EasyJet - Which Would You Pick?
SKYTRAX - Ranking - RyanAir
SKYTRAX - Passenger Comments - RyanAir
SKYTRAX - Ranking - EasyJet
SKYTRAX - Passenger Comments - EasyJet

Thanks all.

It seems that EasyJet is a better option cause it is flying into the Milan Linate which is definitely nearer to the TOUR milan airport(Star Ritz Milan) instead of the other airport if flying into Milan from Ryan Air. Would certainly consider Easyjet for the reason.....

By the way, any of you have taken the EASY PACE Italy and would say the hotel given by INSIGHT are good? I noticed that if you were to stay on extra night in the last stop, the hotel rates given by insight are so much more expensive comparing some of the online site booking (same hotel but rates are cheaper by 40-50%)..
