Hi all,
I need some advice. Planning to join the Easy Pace Italy tour for my honeymoon in late dec and would like to know if anyone can advise if this tour will pick you up in the airport?

I will be travelling from Paris to Milan to start the tour. Where can they pick you up? only in the airport or? I am planning to either take budget airline or the rail.

Any ideas?

I believe they only pickup at airports. But a taxi from the train station certainly can't be that expensive.

I believe you can also travel by train from Paris to the Milan Airport. I would not fly on those budget Europe airlines.

Cheers

We were on the Easy Pace Italy from April 20 to May 4th the Milan Airport is about an hour trip to Milan. We nearly missed our transfer from the airport because of luggage problems. The cost of a taxi to Milan would have been 80 euros. It is possible to take a bus or train from the airport.

Hiya Jojo,

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

It sounds like you're planning a wonderful honeymoon. I hope it turns out to be everything that you hoped for!

I thought you'd like some additional info for your trip. I hope you find it useful.

I used Ryanair (http://www.ryanair.com) to travel between Holland and England. The flight was inexpensive, quick and no frills, however the aiports that Ryanair uses are out of the way.

I was pleased with the service, although I did worry about the baggage restriction. The great thing about Ryanair is that you can find flights for as little as 0.99 Euros per segment, plus applicable taxes. I'll be using them again this year when I fly from Paris to Rome and I have absolutely no concerns about doing so.

I know there's a flight between Milan and Paris. In Paris you can use the a shuttle bus from Place de la Porte Maillot to the Beauvais Airport where Ryanair flies from. The cost is 13 Euros per person (cash only). Here's the site : http://www.aeroportbeauvais.com/bus.php?lang=eng

A train from Paris to Milan will take between 6 and 7 hours and a second class ticket will cost in the vicinity of $175 USD per person. You won't spend that much for 2 people on a Ryanair flight and transfers.

Hope this helps.

Have a great day!

Smiler

Hi Morgana,
Thanks.

From my preparation, I know there was a flight between Milan and Paris and the shuttle bus between the airports. However my concerns is this :
1)Travelling from Paris central to the Ryanair airport. Is that easy?
2)Arriving Milan airport(which airport is that) - do insight tour do transfer from that Milan Ryanair airport? Any clue?

Thanks

Arrival in Milan is at the Orio al Sario Airport: http://www.sacbo.it near Bergamo, Italy. It's about 45 minutes away from Milan and can be accessed by public transport. Insight won't provide you with a transfer because it's not a flight booked with them.

You'll have to make your own way into Milan.

Hope this helps!
