Hi,
I am from Singapore (very warm climate) and so far my holidays to States and Australia have been in summer. Was wondering if the winter in Europe is very harsh in January? Also if the sun sets pretty early during winter, would it be better if we travel in Spring instead?
Morever, my husband and I tend to travel on our own and the few escorted tours that we took were pretty hectic with many early wake-up calls. We have never travelled with Insight and are wondering if the wake-up calls are very early and is the pace hectic?
Appreciate any comments/suggestion pl, thanks

If you have never been in a cold climate, I would not recommend Europe in January, unless you are close to the Mediterranean. It is dark by around 4:00 p.m. and temperatures will be within a few degrees of freezing, either way. You will like it better in April or May. Of course, it's less crowded in winter, but that's because others are also waiting for better weather.
