Hi I am very interested in visiting the Capuchini in Rome. Any idea how easy it is to get to? Has anyone been there and what did you think?

Hi, April. We went to the Cappuchine church in April 2005. It was amazing, but my husband was quite put off by all the bones used as decorations! You take the metro to 'Barberini' station. (I'm not sure if its line A or B, but you will see the list at the stations.) The church is in the street directly across the square. It is on the right, up a small hill. The chapel entrance is on the right of the church. There were no crowds there when we were there. Admittence is by donation. I think you will find it a fascinating curiousity! Eeker

When we were in Rome in 2005, our tour director toldus not to go there and that there was a lot more interesting sites to visit in Rome. The Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel, St Peter's, the Spanish Steps.......

Click on the below link for some interesting information on it.

We had gone there sometime ago, and I found it very interesting. If you have limited time and have missed some of the major sites, do the major sites, but if you have seen them all, then this is indeed interesting.

It is right on Via Veneto, as it curves away from the US Embassy. The front steps go up into the chapel, and the side door, to the right, goes into the crypt where the bones are.

GO!! If you have the time. Very easy to find.
