Is anyone going on the Amazing Spain & Portugal tour March 28, 2008?

We went on the tour in March, 2003. It is a very good tour. We stayed at the hotel Cuzco in Madrid.

Hi Portia.
Welcome to the Bulletin Board. You will find heaps of info about Spain and Portugal on the board. We went on the Treasures of Spain,Portugal and Morocco last year and The two countries you are going to are fascinating. I am sure you will love the trip. We left on our tour from Madrid at the end of March also. A good time to travel. I note you come from Oregon.We plan to travel from LA by car up through Oregon and into Washington State later on next year. We have been there before and it is certainly a nice part of the world. Hi ZGordon. Yes we will hire a car in LA and travel up the coast road. We are certainly looking forward to it. We have our maps and have had fun planning where to stop off each day. Regards Jim |

Please think about joining us for this tour. The price is amazing ($1250.00) with discount from Pavlus Travel. This will be in the Spring of the year which I consider perfect for travel because the weather is pleasant but the crowds have not yet arrived. We are flying from Madrid on our own to Barcelona for four nights to complete the trip. I usually travel independently but I can't do this tour on my own for anywhere near this price. Think about it!

Wow!!!!! The price has really gone up in 4 years. I guess all of that is due to the devaluation of the US dollar.

I am considering this tour as well. The thing that bothers me is the poor rating the Madrid hotel has in all of the reviews I have read. Since we would spend 3 nights there, that might put me off. Bonnie |
