I got my travel docs yesterday, and it came with a letter to say why there are no more travel bags.

It said -


Dear valued Insight traveller,

It is for several reasons, that effective 1st March, 2008 we have ceased to provide travel bags to our valued clients.

We have maintained providing travel bags over several years however the overall size of these bags can be at times quite limiting. In
addition , European airlines and airports are continually changing their policy on cabin baggage allowance with most still allowing one (1) bag only.

Furthmore, as Insight Vacations is a proud member of The Leading Travel Companies of the World Consvervaetion Foundation, we are extremely conscious of sustainable tourism and our travel bags have proven to be environmentally unfriendly.

We take this opportunity to wish you an enjoyable holiday and to thank you for choosing

Allison, thanks for this. I went to a travel expo in Horsham and the insight rep gave me a travel bag. I told her I had heard about no more travel bags.

Were are you off to in your travels. I go to Italy in September.

Hi maufr,

I'm off on the 9th May, doing 2 tours CR of Bavaria, Switzerland and Austria then Highlights of Eastern Europe with TT.

We picked up our docs on saturday and they came with bags so if anyone wants one u are welcome we have a collection in our cupboard. Personally I would prefer the new wallet which looks far more useful and practical
