Just looked at the pricing for tours in 2009. Quite an increase.

We may have to re think our travel plans and look at destinations that are less expensive.

We wanted to do Italy again, but between the tour increase and airfares, it is probably time for alternate planning.

I have had a quick look at the tour price and see that the price of the tours I looked at in Britain and Ireland have gone down. This will be a bonus for anyone planning a holiday to that part of the world next year. The biggest down side in Britain is the exchange rate.

Reason for the difference in tour prices is the exchange rate - Australia's is improving every day and US is worth less every day.......

Our Cdn dollar is strong against the US dollar these past few months, so we too are pleased with the price of tours. In the past when our dollar was 20-25% less than US currency out of country travel was not so attractive.

Last time I looked this was an Insight bulletin board. Why are you recommending another tour company for China?

There were big price rises when we went last year too. But my grocery shopping has gone up a LOT more comparatively speaking. I'm not surprised.
I just heard from travel agent about next years trip. If I pay the deposit by next week, the price is locked in. So that's what I'll be doing!

Read some reviews on Ritz tours on the internet. They aren't very good. With Insight you always know what you get. Took several so far and never been dissapointed

We used Ritz for our 2005 China trip and were very pleased. Our hotel accomodations were great. We always use Insight unless they do not have tours where we want to go.
