Hi, I am looking at doing the Gems of Europe tour in Sept 09. Want to hear from anybody else who is taking this tour or anyone who has been on this tour previously. Also wondering, I'm 30 and will be travelling alone (husband not joining me), what are the age ranges on these tours and do they cater for singles or couples?

Any info would be great.

Don't worry about travelling by yourself. Your TD will look out for you and also when you are on a bus tour you tend to look out for each other and do things together.

When I travelled on tours by myself there were usually other singles that I teamed up with or I joined in with other couples. Everyone is on holiday and in a happy mood and want to share their experiences.

Tours tend to have all ages. I found the ages varied from 20 to over 80 and, in many instances, the over 80's were fitter and more involved in everything than a lot of others.

Do the tour as you obviously want to go to Europe. You will have a marvelous time (even thought naturally you will miss hubby) and will see wonderful sights.

I have decided to do this tour. I booked it on the weekend. I go Sept 13 til 23 Sept. Sooooo very excited.

Phil,
I followed your link and got "The tour is invalid". Also, it is no longer listed on the website. What does that mean? Are all the remaining dates full or has the trip been cancelled? Any ideas?
