WE may or may not be going on this tour,because of the incompetance of the travel agents:FLIGHT CENTRE in Bendigo,Victoria.
We have had injections,visa's,child minding,time off work and other inconveniances, and still they still cannot tell us if we are booked with your company or not. We are supposed to fly out on 3/4/05. Any information would be appriciated |

have you tried contacting Insight's Australian office? They have a link on their website called: Contact Us. They are more likely to be aware of your booking situation than some TDs in London. However, with Easter almost upon us, you probably wont get an answer until next week. By the way, all of the Egyptian Elegance tour starts until end-October are shown as guaranteed departures (TG) on the Insight website. phil |

That's shocking Bonny. You fly out in about 10 days and you don't know if your tour is booked? As Chris said, contact Insight direct and withouit delay. Good Luck.

Dear Bonny,
We have traced your booking from the London end and have just a minute ago spoken to Egypt also. Australia has been working fast to lock everything down and Egypt has definitely today confirmed your space on the tour. It now simply needs tying up at the Australian end and everything will be OK. Suggest ask to your agent to speak to Sydney when they re-open.  Have a great trip and enjoy the cruise and Egypt. The experience will be fantastic! John G and Peter |

Bonny, glad you're all sorted now. My husband and I are doing this tour in May. Would love to hear your feedback if you are back before we leave. We depart on 3 May.

I’m glad that worked out; it certainly went down to the line! We hope to visit Egypt either later this year or early next year, it depends on that four letter word WORK. So I shall also be looking forward to your feedback. Give my love to Bendigo, I lived there for two years from mid 1968 – seems ages ago now. When you travel, remember that a foreign country is not designed to make you comfortable. It is designed to make its own people comfortable. |
