Hi all
My husband and I love to travel and this year we have decided to get out of Australia and have a "white" Christmas. We would like to do the Insight Winter Explorer or Spotlight tour with a few days in London either side (Dec 20- Jan 2). So far we have not been able to get quotes or book as it is too soon (May 09). Has anyone done these tours over Christmas or are they usually cancelled due to lack of interest? I would be interested to know if they were worth the cost, if sightseeing attractions were restricted due to holiday season. Thanks and I look forward to hearing your responses.

I'm interested too as I want to do one of these next year or the year after.
I always preregister with Insight through my TA for holidays about 15 months ahead of time. One year we went on the previous years prices and made up the difference when the new prices were released, and for our upcoming trip, they locked in the price at 12 months out for us! Big savings!

Hi Kani, I know it is a bit of time since this post but we have just booked the Winter explorer for 2010 and I am sure keen to hear from people who have done it. I was concerned about the tour not going ahead at short notice but my TA says it should be OK. Other friends have travelled in Europe at this time and said that it is lovely, just take warm clothes!
