My sister and I are deciding which tour to do September 2010. We have date and time constraints. My sister has travelled in Europe before, I have not. We were thinking this one because it goes to Budapest and that is one place she has not been. Any comments or advice?

Budapest was the highlight for me. I adored Hungary. The food was my favourite on the entire tour too. The evening cruising the Danube outdid the Seine cruise in Paris IMO too.
It's a fast paced tour but really gives you a great overview of lots of places. Many are on my go back and see list.

Laj, was the optional in Budapest that you enjoyed called the Danube Cruise with Dinner and Drinks? Romantic European for us October. I think it might be a bit cool, so taking clothing to layer plus ankle boots, would that be a good idea?

Have a look here.. these are just a few of my pics. If you go to the Budapest one, you'll see the photos of the food we had on the cruise. It was to die for! That is the optional I meant. Also.. the one that goes to Szendentre village is good too. The best REAL Hungarian goulash.

My travel blog of the trip is here if you want a rundown also..

Our trip was September/October and the temps varied. It was really cold in Amsterdam, Germany and that side of Europe. Rome was hot. Then Paris was coldish again. I bought up on scarvesthere and that helped. The rest I wore 3/4 sleeves and a normal jacket. I'm from Brisbane and a sook though. Smiler
I go through the background of photos and see what other people were wearing. Gives you a good idea.
