I know! I've weighed it over and over. I've got 3 pair of jeans, 10 tops(!!!), 2 shoes and all the normal bits and pieces.. including a hair straightener!Only half full too.
I did splurge and buy an Antler Size Zero case. Lightest one.. it's only 3 kilos. Nothing in cabin bag either yet!
I guess it's right though. Last time I had a heavier suitcase and it was still only 13kg.

I hope that you have a couple of warm things in your bag the weather in Scotland will be cool. Have a great trip and let us know all about it when you return and who your TD was. If you get David Turner you will be told lots of great history of England and Ireland. Are you going to post some of your photos again this time?
It will soon be time to think about where you may want to go next time.

Certainly have packed warm things! My relatives in London are telling me how warm it is there. Well.. I'm sitting here on a very warm winter day in Brissy and am in a tracksuit. Smiler I feel the cold. Their warm is very different to my warm. Big Grin
I've got my eyes on one of the Christmas Market tours next. IF I can handle the cold. Smiler

John Brakenbridge (?) is our TD this time.

Nine Kilos - wow

did you put all the heavy stuff in Mr Laj's suitcase Big Grin

My suitcase weighs 4.4kg with nothing in it. I have put in a few things today - the cables and power adapters for all my electrical stuff, there is nothing in that department I can leave behind unless I decide to leave the phone, the camera, iPod and iron at home. My iron is a little Korjo Iron and it weight 900g. I guess if anything I'd leave it behind. I won't do anymore packing now until the morning I leave. I know exactly which clothes are going and have my list to check off. Two weeks tomorrow for me!!

Depends what you consider "cool". I was there last week and wore nothing but tee-shirts all week. Temps are are in the low 20s at the moment, which for me at least, is pleasantly warm.

Gennevive I've taken to carrying cables in my hand luggage as I couldn't cope if the suitcase and its contents went off on their own little trip. Adapters I can replace if necessary but chargers...

Yes.. low 20's is winter weather here. Smiler
caza, have already bought my links. I was going to wait and put them on as I entered each country but couldn't wait.
Mr. laj and the laj kidlets are not coming on this trip! Going with other family this time.Hence the reason to go with a low weight. No hubby's bag to load up! Smiler
I'm going to leave my travel iron this time.Tough decision for me. I emailed all the hotels that didn't state if they had irons available and they all responded promptly, that they did. So I won't need it this time around.

Hi Laj
I don't know how you packed your case so light. You might have to give lessons!!!

I do have a question. How did you find out your TD? I'm doing the same tour as you but leave on the 23rd and as far as I know the TD hasn't posted here.

Enjoy your trip, we might cross paths in London.
