I've been reading about the convenient availability of ATMs in Italy, but am wondering about my particular bank card's access. Ours is linked via Interac and "Plus" but not Cirrus. Someone mentioned to me that they had a problem finding ATMs with Interac access. Is that the case?

Have you had any response's to your question regarding "ATM's"? My wife & I are going to Italy next May and were wondering the same thing. Hope you have fun on your upcoming tour/

Have you asked your banks about this or 'googled' Interac or Plus (I'm sure I've seen PLUS in ATMs in Europe but can't be sure it was Italy)?

I found a site that has a locator feature for ATMs connected to The Plus network:

I think they are fewer and farther between in Europe than Cirrus network machines. It is good to be prepared, and I will be speaking with my bank before we go.
