I have a technical problem with some pages - the Previous topic/Next topic buttons have gone missing. It would seem to be on recent topics but it's very annoying as it means I can't just move from one topic to the next but have to go back to the section header and start again. Is it just me? I haven't changed any settings anywhere.

YES, I just starting having the same problem... On here and on the TT board. I haven't changed anything either. Frowner

I went back on some older posts and like you, found that the buttons are there - it's just the new ones.

ZGordon,

On my page, the buttons are (not) on the bottom of the page right below the last comment. There is a darker bar that runs across the page and in the middle it says "Powered by Eve Community" On the left, it should have buttons that say "Previous Topic/Next Topic" and you click on either one and it takes you there. On the newer posts, it is not there, just the dark bar - no clickable spots! Frowner

Maybe they'll reappear in the near future; all this going back through topics to get to the next one is a nuisance.

ZGordon - as Jill says they used to be bottom left and now alas they're not.

ok, I've got the Powered by Eve Community, but I've never seen buttons on that bar! to get the next post down, I have always had to back button on the top left of the browser. Maybe because i have an iMac?

I must admit that I too am puzzled by this post. Until I saw this topic, I had never noticed the Previous topic/Next topic buttons and even now, can't really see their point.

When I open the Bulletin Board, the first thing I look at is the Last Topic column. If there are no "bolded" topics shown in any of the fora, then there is obviously nothing new posted since I last visited the BB. If there is one or more "bolded" topics, I click on "Find" and then select: "New Since your Last Visit" and this shows me every new post.

ZGordon, I don't believe that this is a quirk of your iMac. It looks more like a "feature" that was present in an earlier version of the BB software but was subsequently removed in one of the software revisions.

Maybe it's habit but it was the way I navigated through the forum and it has changed. I start of the same way as you Phil but don't do the Find bit, possibly because I'm not sure it was there when I first started using the Board or possibly because I didn't notice it. However your way seems efficient so I'll try it. Thanks.
